This is the formal process of verifying that your installed copper (Cat6/Cat6A) and fiber (single-mode/multimode) links meet industry performance standards. For copper, we validate wiremap, length, NEXT/PSNEXT, return loss, and overall headroom to support current and future speeds (1/2.5/5/10GbE and PoE). For fiber, we measure insertion loss and optical return loss, inspect endfaces, confirm polarity, and document link budgets. The result is a pass/fail report for every labeled link, so you know the physical layer won’t be the bottleneck for your network.

As a low-voltage wiring company, TechVoo performs standards-based testing and certification on new or existing cabling plants. We label each link, test with calibrated, industry-standard certifiers, and deliver a complete PDF package—per-link results, summary sheets, and as-built documentation—typically within 7–10 business days of project completion. If a run fails, we diagnose and remediate (re-terminate, repair, or replace as needed) and retest. When a customer has approved an out-of-spec exception, we still test and document the results as a “fail” while noting functional observations. We handle the physical layer end-to-end; your IT/MSP manages the active equipment configuration.

Certified cabling protects uptime, speeds troubleshooting, and ensures your investment supports today’s and tomorrow’s gear—Wi-Fi 6/6E/7, VoIP, cameras, and high-draw PoE—without mysterious drops or slowdowns. It can help qualify you for manufacturer warranties, reduces long-term support costs, and gives you audit-ready documentation for facilities and compliance. With TechVoo, you get meticulous workmanship, clear labeling, honest pass/fail reporting, and a clean, future-proof foundation—delivered on time, after-hours when needed, and with no-surprise pricing.
